66 Mandals in the Chittoor district are grouped into three Revenue Divisions. A Revenue division is aka Taluka.
1) Chittoor Taluka/Revenue division ( 20 Mandals)
2) Tirupati Taluka/Revenue division ( 15 Mandals)
3) Madanapalli Taluka/Revenue division ( 31 Mandals)

MPL is the largest division not only in AP inbut also in the entire India itself. Need to create a new revenue division PALAMANER as head quarter with Kuppam Palamner & Punganur assembly constituencies. Kadapa with 50 mandals & 4 RDOs So CTR should have five.Three existing TPT CTR MPL and two new RDO s Palamaner & Srikalahasti
it is better to create a new revenue division PUNGANUR as head quarters with kuppam,palamner,punganur assembly constituencies.Because punganur is a municipal council since 30years.but palamner is a municipal council since only 8 years.And punganur is one of the oldest towns in the state

Palamaner and Pichatur were propsed since 1980..even ex CM CB Naidu announced in 1999 (b4 the elections) PLMR and SKHT are new revenue division in teh dist.
No divisional office is tehre in PGR as it is closure to MPL (24 KM) then Palamaner is having many divisional office including Police (DSP office) For PGR distance from Kuppam is 105 KM which is as good as MPL which reduces 25 mins journey in teh same bus.
Any how new renue division will be announced today's budget and hope PLMR is once out of 18 announced.
