Devi English School,Greamspet is one of the first schools in the town to have started classes in English medium. The school was established by the current correspondent Sri N,Vittal Rao in the year 1982.The high school classes were started in the year 1993 and by year 1997 the School started running the full fledged High school from Nursery to X std.Incidentally ours was the first batch to come out in the year 1998.
Last week the school celebrated its 25Th anniversary celebrations at the local Vijaya Durga Kalyana Mandapam.Here goes some of the photos taken on this eve...

The Guests who were present on the occasion stressed on the importance of the young students role in building the future of the country, role of teachers/parents in shaping them into responsible citizens and ones responsibility in preserving the Mother tongue etc.,One of the guest gave a fine illustration on how the teachers/parents should take care/guide the students in the early stage of life and how the latter should take responsibility in the latter part of life.
Early stage:Mother Dog and its babies.Here the dog carries it baby dogs holding with the mouth.Here the mother dog has to take care of the baby and make sure the baby is unhurt.
Later Stage:Mother Monkey carrying its baby.Here the baby has to take care that it will fell down while its mother jumps across tree branches.
In short Parents/Teachers should guide the students in taking self responsibility to lead the rest of life in a better way.But due to the spoon feeding kind of study culture, many are not maturing up to the age and are struggling at work in applying the basics.
So Teachers/Parents should lay a strong foundation.
